Chicago Area Clean Cities 2019 Green Drives Conference Expo
Chicago Area Clean Cities had its eighth annual Green Drives Conference and Expo on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Northern Illinois University Conference Center in Naperville, IL. The Conference showcased clean-vehicle and greenfleet technologies. The program featured 40 green vehicles, 25 exhibitors, and remarks by experts in Fleet Management, Clean Energy, Alternative Fuels, Electric Vehicles, Hydrogen, Biodiesel, Natural Gas, Propane, and Ethanol!
IAFA Formation Debut at Expo
The formal establishment of the Illinois Alternative Fuels Alliance was publicly announced during the 2019 Chicago Area Clean Cities Green Drive Expo. During the Expo lunch program, Clean Cities’ Joe Koenig, announced to a full house of industry stakeholders the official establishment of the Alliance as a nonprofit 501 (c) (6) organization dedicated to continuing its mission of advancing expanded use of alternative fuels and clean energy to improve air quality.

Illinois General Assembly Alternative Fuels Information Session and Lunch
The Illinois Alternative Fuels Alliance delegation presented its formal 2019 Legislative Agenda to members of the Illinois General Assembly and to the Illinois Department of Agriculture Director, John Sullivan, on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
